Quo Vadis 2017 based on the theme Enlighten, Evolve, Empower was the Annual Management and Cultural festival of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi for the academic year 2016-2017. It was a 3 day extravaganza which saw a footfall of over 6000 and participation from top B-Schools and Undergrad colleges of the country. There were a number of both cultural and management events taking place. The most awaited part of the fest were the celebrity nights and IIFT hosted the following stars as a part of Quo Vadis 2017: Star Night- Mohit Chauhan
IIFT Marathon 2017 was the official launch of Quo Vadis 2018 theme with the participation of students across Delhi running for the cause of 'Raise Your Voice' on 12th of November 2017. The Marathon is an initiative taken by the student fraternity of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade as a part of its annual management and cultural festival, Quo Vadis. The event consisted of 4 races - 5.5km (Men & Women), 11.5km (Men & Women). This year, The Marathon concluded as a huge success with a huge number of participation from residents and students of Delhi. An international level throwball player, Mr. Ankur Singhal flagged off the IIFT Marathon 2017.
The Blood Donation Camp in Delhi Campus was organised on 28th November, 2017 as a part of Quo Vadis 2018 themed around "Raise Your Voice". This event was successfully conducted in association with a HDFC Bank and Rotary Blood Bank. The event concluded as a grand success and garnered attention of a number of donors.
The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIFT, Delhi organized LIIFT (Launch Pad at IIFT), an Entrepreneurship Summit conducted in collaboration with UDAANSKILL and KITTES-Knowledge for Innovation in Trade & Technology for Entrepreneurial Start-Ups at IIFT on Sunday,20th August, 2017.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Amitabh Kant (IAS), CEO -Niti Aayog and was presided over by Dr. Manoj Pant, Director - IIFT amongst the presence of distinguished guests including Shri. H. K. Mittal, Advisor & Member Secretary, NSTEDB who graced this occasion with his august presence.
The maiden session of the summit had a discussion around the theme - 'Journey from ideation to my first sale'. The esteemed panel consisted of Kaushik Saha, Chief Technology Officer at Samsung R&D Institute India; Kanupriya Seghal, EVP Marketing & Corporate Communication at NCDEX; Vivek Dhaiya, SBU Head at @SagaciousResearch and Mr. Juergen Hase, CEO at UNLIMIT Powered by Reliance.
The second panel of discussion of the summit was based on the theme- 'The Story Behind' and the esteemed panel consisted of Priyanka Chaudhary, Co-founder -Gracia Raina foundation, Tripti Shinghal Somani, CEO -KGS Advisors, Niraj Sharan, Chairman and CEO -Aura Inc., Mukesh Malik, CEO -Project GK, Manasvi Singh, Co-Founder and Co-CEO Buddy4Study.
The final panel discussion was based on the theme -"Why Investors Say No." The esteemed panel consisted of Vikram Gupta, Founder & MD -IvyCap Ventures, Gagan Ghai, Business Mentor -IvyCamp, DhianuDas, Angel Investor & Serial Entrepreneur, Amit Kharabanda, MD -MyBox, Roma Priya, Founding Partner -Burgeoning Bizsupport and Rajan Bhatia, Director -Rajan Bhatia & Company.
The Annual Entrepreneurship conclave proved to be an informative and enlightening session for all involved with it and will surely serve as a future guiding light to upcoming entrepreneurs.
The city meets are one of the most exhilarating happenings of the year where the two batches meet and interact to talk IIFT, campus life and b-school. This year, the numbers reached a whopping 150 students i.e. almost 60% of the incoming batch 2017-19. Meeting the aspirants informally and having a heart-to-heart with them, clarifying their doubts and soothing their anxieties, was an amazing experience.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi recently concluded their annual management and cultural fest, Quo Vadis 2016 from 22-24 Jan, 2016. Literally meaning "Where are you headed?" , Quo Vadis this time saw North India's most prestigious B School Fest go places.
Centered around the theme of "Enabling India Digitally", IIFT hosted 7 management events viz. Markician (Marketing Case Study Competition), Vriddhan (Finance Case Study Competition), Samahva (E-commerce B-Plan Competition), Eternity's Call (The Consulting and Strategy Competition), Kratos (A Simulation Game Challenge), Cognoscentia (The Business Technology Quiz) and the Shastra (The Flagship Event) with prizes worth more than 3 Lakhs and for the first time, cash prizes were given on the spot. The flagship management event Shastra, saw participation from very select B Schools on an invite only basis, with 72 hours of gruelling events leading to a grand prize of Rs. 50,000. Quo Vadis '16 was grander than ever, seeing a footfall of over 5000 people drawn to the heart of South Delhi. In the 3 days, span IIFT saw 10 cultural and 2 night events. Nukkad Natak (theme road safety) event saw participation from more than 25 teams across India with more than 400 participants in total on campus.
The students of IIFT also played host to many exciting startups on campus, creating the perfect entrepreneurial melting point, with mentors, VCs, angel investors. Keynote address was given by Jaspreet Bindra (SVP-Digital Innovation and E-Commerce-Mahindra Group) and Annurag Batra (Chairman and Editor-In-Chief BW Businessworld) for IIFT's flagship startup summit Genesis 2.0.
Quo Vadis '16 was also a cultural smorgasbord, drawing students from colleges across NCR. The fest saw some of India's most exciting music artistes playing each of the 3 days, captivating the audiences in an exclusive & intimate setting on the IIFT grounds. 22nd opened with Battle of Bands, which sent audience in a frenzy of excitement with 6 shortlisted bands performing in front of an esteemed jury. The day culminated in a spell binding concert by The Local Train, that had the crowd swaying to their songs.
23rd January took this spirit of fervor further, with Hip Hop International regionals seeing some of India's best dance crews fight it out to win over the audience, and a ticket to the World Championships in San Diego, California. As the perfect follow up, IIFT hosted the sensational Singer and Musician Amit Trivedi performing on Star night, who played hit after hit, until the crowd went ecstatic, winning over the duo with their boundless energy and enthusiasm.
The morning of 24th January was welcomed with dhols, drum and a acappella, with 6 of the best collegiate teams from Delhi presenting their Nukkad Nataks (finals), moving the audience with their raw emotions, and bold voices. For the first time finals of Nukkad Natak event was live streamed on IIFT's official YouTube channel. The afternoon was set ablaze with 12 fashion crews walking the ramp, with Femina Miss India 2014, Koyal Rana and Mr. India 2015, Sagar Gera. Later night comedian Kanan Gill and Kishore Dayani humored IIFT audience with their witty talks.

Koshish, the social awareness cell at IIFT Kolkata participated in Bhumi's Joy To The World, where we fulfilled wishes of 50 kids from Bhumi's shelter homes. This is the event where Bhumi volunteers ask children to write their wishes on cards and then volunteers contact various organisations to participate in the event by buying gifts ranging from Rs 200 to Rs. 500. Students from IIFT, Kolkata showed great interest by donating gifts ranging from School Bags, Shoes, Sports Equipment and Clothes. Group of students then visited the orphanage and distributed gifts personally to the kids because it is in giving that we receive!
The Systemix Club at IIFT Kolkata in collaboration with SAS India concluded an 8-day workshop on SAS where the students had ample hands-on experience on Enterprise Miner, Visual Statistics, and Visual Analytics to stay relevant and updated to the Data Analytics and Data Science world. The workshop was very comprehensive, detailed, informative and full of real-world business cases and scenarios.
