IIFT has been successfully strengthening its relationship with international organizations by signing MoUs and participating in their activities or taking collaborative initiatives. The Institute is a member of the following International organizations:

Academy of International Business (AIB)
International affilations

The Academy of International Business (AIB) is the leading association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business. Established in 1959, today, AIB has 3293 members in 86 different countries around the world. Members include scholars from the leading global academic institutions as well consultants, researchers, government and NGO representatives. The Academy also has seventeen chapters established around the world to facilitate networking as well as the facilitation and exchange of knowledge at a more local level.


European Foundation For Management Development (EFMD), Brussels
International affilations

EFMD is an international membership organization, based in Brussels, Belgium. With more than 650 member organizations from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 75 countries, EFMD provides a unique forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development. EFMD is recognized globally as an accreditation body of quality in management education and has established accreditation services for business schools and business school programmes, corporate universities and technology-enhanced learning programmes.


International Association of Trade Training Organisations (IATTO), UK
International affilations

In 1996, IATTO was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in terms of the Companies Act of England. Membership of IATTO enables individuals and organizations to network with and learn from fellow international trade educators and specialists operating in other parts of the world. It also provides access to an international accreditation system with unique features aimed at enhancing the marketability of international trade training programmes and certification.
